Barbie Dolls Clothes

Have you ever looked back to what your thoughts and believes were as a child to what they are as an adult? It is funny how we can change our minds about things as we get older. Part of it is peer pressure and wanting to fit in and another reason is that as we get older we base our thoughts and opinions on the experiences that we have had. As I have aged I realize that some of the things that my parents did for me that I thought were lame, took a great deal of effort and time. You do not realize these things until you become a parent yourself.

When I was growing up my parents did not have a great deal of money. We were not poor, but they worked hard for everything we had. When I reflect back they always put us kids first. We had new clothes, shoes and other things before my parents bought things for themselves. My mom is a gift giver. She liked to surprise us with gifts and tokens even though there was not a lot of money to purchase these things with. Barbie dolls were a big deal when I was a kid. The neighborhood girls would get together to play dress up with the Barbie’s. I had a Barbie doll, but not very many Barbie doll clothes. They were expensive to buy. My mother began making Barbie doll clothes for me to play with. I was the only one that had homemade Barbie doll clothes. Often times when I went to play I would leave the home made clothes in the box and only take out the few store bought ones that I had.

A few years ago my mother had to go into assisted living. My sisters and I started going through the house picking out the things for mom to have in her apartment and dividing the other things and also preparing for a yard sale. In the attic we came across a few boxes of toys that mom had saved through the years. We found a box filled with my Barbie doll things. Many of the handmade pieces of clothing were still there. Now that I have sewn a few things I realize the patience and time it took my mother to sew the small intricate pieces for the Barbie doll clothes. She put a great deal of time into small details. On the gowns she had sewn sequins and small beads to make them special. Looking at these clothes as an adult I realized that I had more beautiful clothes to play with than any of my friends, yet I left them stored in a box because they were not bought in a store.

Dealing with Your Teenager and the Latest Fashion Trends

Dealing with Your Teenager and the Latest Fashion Trends

Are you the parent of a teenager? If you are, you likely already know that many teens want to look their best, at least fashion wise. For that reason, many teens keep up on the latest fashion tends and use them. While this is okay in some aspects, it can result in your teenager wearing baggy pants showing their boxers or revealing shirts that show off too much cleavage. While these do seem to be popular fashion trends, do you really want your child displaying them? If not, you may be wondering what you should do.

When it comes to your teenager and fashion trends that you may not necessarily approve of, your first thought may be to lay down the law. As a parent, this is your right to do, but did you know that you may actually end up causing more damage? Do you remember what it was like being a teenager? If you were like most teenagers, there was a good chance that the last thing you wanted was to be told how to dress by your parents and the same is likely so for your own teen. That is why you may want to think about taking a different approach.

One of the many instances where you should speak to your child about their fashions is if it may end up causing them some harm. As previously mentioned, many of the latest fashion trends for women and for girls are low cut shirts and low rise pants. This often ends up leaving a good portion of the body exposed. In today’s society, you always need to be on the lookout for sexual predators. While your teenager may not necessarily be interested in someone, someone may actually end up getting that type feeling from them. This could put your teenager in a weird and possibly dangerous situation. If that is the case, you may want to take the time to explain that, as it may sink in better than if you were just to say “change your clothes; you can’t wear that.”

It is also important that both you and your teenager remember that fashion trends regularly change. It is not uncommon for a fashion trend to only last a few months. If you are not happy with the current fashion trends, but your teenagers are, you may want to encourage them to explore other options. There are a number of fashion magazines and online fashion websites that have a large number of fashion trends and information on those trends. Not all fashion trends require the wearing of “skimpy,” clothing. For that reason, you may want to explore other options. If your teenager is a girl, it could actually turn into a neat mother daughter bonding experience between the two of you.

Something else that you may not necessarily think about, but should, is if your child goes to high school. Many high schools have dress codes and these dress codes often prohibit the wearing of revealing clothing. While not all schools actively enforce their dress codes, many out there do. Like with being told not wear certain clothes by their parents, many teenagers may feel angered being told by school officials. For that reason, you may want to take action before anything serious happens that could seriously jeopardize your child and their school records. It is not uncommon to hear of instances where children are suspended from school due to not following the school’s dress code.

In short, teenagers and fashion are something that just seems to click together. While it is important for your teenager to fit in with others and be popular at school, they do not necessarily have to be wearing the “hottest,” clothes or fashion accessories to do so. They may not necessarily understand it at the time, but as a parent it is your job to help them and keep them safe.

How to Choose the Perfect Fashion Store

How to Choose the Perfect Fashion Store

Are you interested in revamping your wardrobe?  If you are looking to update the clothing or clothing accessories that you own, you may be interested in incorporating some of the latest fashion trends into your wardrobe.  If you are, you will need to find a fashion store to shop at.

When it comes to finding a fashion store to shop at, you have a number of different options.  Before examining those options, you need to remember that fashion stores are operated in both storefront locations and online.  If you are looking for an online fashion store, you may want to think about performing a standard internet search.  If you are looking for a storefront store to shop at, you may want to think about visiting your local shopping mall, using your local phone book, or using online business directories.

Although the above mentioned searching methods are all great ways to go about finding a fashion store and a good number of them at that, you never really know what type of stores you will come across. That is why you will actually want to do more than just find a fashion store to shop at; you will want to choose one to shop at.  When it comes to choosing the perfect fashion store to update your wardrobe, there are a number of important factors that you may want to take into consideration.

One of the many factors that you may want to take into consideration is the stores in question.  Fashion stores come in a number of different sizes, shapes, and styles.  For instance, there are clothing stores that are designed for plus sized women, teenagers, athletic men and women, and so forth.  In addition to examining your gender and your size, you may also want to take the type of clothing fashions that you would like to buy into consideration. Are you mostly just looking for work clothes or do you want a combination of work clothes and causal clothes?  Knowing what type of clothing and fashion accessories you would like to buy is very helpful when it comes to finding the perfect fashion store for you and your needs.

Cost is another factor that should be taken into consideration when choosing a fashion store to shop at.  A large number of the fashion stores that carry the latest and greatest fashion trends are likely to be fairly costly.  If you have an unlimited amount of money to spend on a new wardrobe, this may not necessarily be a problem for you. However, if you are on a budget, you may want to examine the fashion stores that you are interested in shopping at and their average sale prices.  If you are able to do a little bit of research online, even for storefront store, you may be able to save yourself a considerable amount of time.

Another factor that you may want to take into consideration is location.  Fashion stores are located all across the county and even some are located in small cities and towns.  However, if you are looking for some of the clothing pieces and fashion accessories that may be found on the runways of New York and Paris, you may not be able to find those items in your local fashion stores.  For that reason, it is important that you examine the location of the fashion store or stores that you would like to shop at.  Of course, you will likely want to stay locally, but if you are serious about updating your wardrobe to include the latest trends in fashion, you may want to make arrangements to travel to a well-known fashion store, even if it is a few hours away.

The above mentioned factors are just a few of the many ways that you can go about finding the perfect fashion store.  If you are not pressed for time or if you would like to make a fun adventure out of buying a new wardrobe for yourself, you may want to start hitting up as many fashion stores as you can find. Somewhere along the way, you are sure to find the perfect one, if not more.

SUITABLE CLOTHING FOR CHILDREN.

Infants are very susceptible of the impressions of cold; a proper regard, therefore, to a suitable clothing of the body, is imperative to their enjoyment of health. Unfortunately, an opinion is prevalent in society, that the tender child has naturally a great power of generating heat and resisting cold; and from this popular error has arisen the most fatal results. This opinion has been much strengthened by the insidious manner in which cold operates on the frame, the injurious effects not being always manifest during or immediately after its application, so that but too frequently the fatal result is traced to a wrong source, or the infant sinks under the action of an unknown cause.

The power of generating heat in warm-blooded animals is at its minimum at birth, and increases successively to adult age; young animals, instead of being warmer than adults, are generally a degree or two colder, and part with their heat more readily; facts which cannot be too generally known. They show how absurd must be the folly of that system of "hardening" the constitution (to which reference has been before made), which induces the parent to plunge the tender and delicate child into the cold bath at all seasons of the year, and freely expose it to the cold, cutting currents of an easterly wind, with the lightest clothing.

The principles which ought to guide a parent in clothing her infant are as follows:

The material and quantity of the clothes should be such as to preserve a sufficient proportion of warmth to the body, regulated therefore by the season of the year, and the delicacy or strength of the infant's constitution. In effecting this, however, the parent must guard against the too common practice of enveloping the child in innumerable folds of warm clothing, and keeping it constantly confined to very hot and close rooms; thus running into the opposite extreme to that to which I have just alluded: for nothing tends so much to enfeeble the constitution, to induce disease, and render the skin highly susceptible to the impression of cold; and thus to produce those very ailments which it is the chief intention to guard against.

In their make they should be so arranged as to put no restrictions to the free movements of all parts of the child's body; and so loose and easy as to permit the insensible perspiration to have a free exit, instead of being confined to and absorbed by the clothes, and held in contact with the skin, till it gives rise to irritation.

In their quality they should be such as not to irritate the delicate skin of the child. In infancy, therefore, flannel is rather too rough, but is desirable as the child grows older, as it gives a gentle stimulus to the skin, and maintains health.

In its construction the dress should be so simple as to admit of being quickly put on, since dressing is irksome to the infant, causing it to cry, and exciting as much mental irritation as it is capable of feeling. Pins should be wholly dispensed with, their use being hazardous through the carelessness of nurses, and even through the ordinary movements of the infant itself.

The clothing must be changed daily. It is eminently conducive to good health that a complete change of dress should be made every day. If this is not done, washing will, in a great measure, fail in its object, especially in insuring freedom from skin diseases.

During childhood.
----------------

The clothing of the child should possess the same properties as that of infancy. It should afford due warmth, be of such materials as do not irritate the skin, and so made as to occasion no unnatural constriction.

In reference to due warmth, it may be well again to repeat, that too little clothing is frequently productive of the most sudden attacks of active disease; and that children who are thus exposed with thin clothing in a climate so variable as ours are the frequent subjects of croup, and other dangerous affections of the air- passages and lungs. On the other hand, it must not be forgotten, that too warm clothing is a source of disease, sometimes even of the same diseases which originate in exposure to cold, and often renders the frame more susceptible of the impressions of cold, especially of cold air taken into the lungs. Regulate the clothing, then, according to the season; resume the winter dress early; lay it aside late; for it is in spring and autumn that the vicissitudes in our climate are greatest, and congestive and inflammatory complaints most common.

With regard to material (as was before observed), the skin will at this age bear flannel next to it; and it is now not only proper, but necessary. It may be put off with advantage during the night, and cotton maybe substituted during the summer, the flannel being resumed early in the autumn. If from very great delicacy of constitution it proves too irritating to the skin, fine fleecy hosiery will in general be easily endured, and will greatly conduce to the preservation of health.

It is highly important that the clothes of the boy should be so made that no restraints shall be put on the movements of the body or limbs, nor injurious pressure made on his waist or chest. All his muscles ought to have full liberty to act, as their free exercise promotes both their growth and activity, and thus insures the regularity and efficiency of the several functions to which these muscles are subservient.

The same remarks apply with equal force to the dress of the girl; and happily, during childhood, at least, no distinction is made in this matter between the sexes. Not so, however, when the girl is about to emerge from this period of life; a system of dress is then adopted which has the most pernicious effects upon her health, and the development of the body, the employment of tight stays, which impede the free and full action of the respiratory organs, being only one of the many restrictions and injurious practices from which in latter years they are thus doomed to suffer so severely.

School and the Fashion Industry

Getting High with the Lures of School and the Fashion Industry

Through the years, more and more people have shown a great deal of interest in venturing into the fashion industry. Its popularity may be attributed in part to success stories of famous fashion designers the world over, like Tommy Hilfiger's.

It was told that Hilfiger drove to New York, bought trendy clothes, and sold them to his townspeople for a huge amount of profit. This story is very inspiring, knowing that Hilfiger is now one of the most expensive and sought after brands out there. However, not everyone who is interested in the fashion world was born with a sharp business knowledge and outstanding fashion sense like Hilfiger's.

Here is where education makes the difference.

With this rising interest of people in the fashion industry comes a rise in the competition, but then, so as with opportunities. It is getting easier to enter a fashion school and obtain a degree – may it be in fashion design, fashion merchandising, or fashion marketing.

These industries may focus on various aspects of the fashion industry, but they do overlap in numerous ways, including the need for knowledgeable instructors in the chosen industry. The competition may be stiff, but if you will be educated and trained in the proper way, you are sure to get an edge in the competitive fashion world.

First of all, you must determine which field you want to specialize in. As enumerated, the three - fashion design, fashion marketing, and fashion merchandising – are the top choices as far as the best opportunities in a fashion career is concerned.

Here are some of the basic information about each:

Fashion Design. If you are a fashion designer, you are considered as the artist of the fashion industry. You are expected to be a highly creative individual who has the eye for an array of colors, lines and textures and has a good sense of style.

As easy as it may seem, a fashion designer's job does not start and end in bringing visions into paper and doing sketches of masterpieces. Based on the final sketch, a designer must still sort through different textures and materials, and then predict how it will fit a fashion model or consumer's body. Once the material has been chosen, the pattern must be cut from the textile, and finally, sewn together. After numerous considerations, it is only then that the "vision" or final product will be seen.

Fashion Marketing. This is an aspect of fashion that basically operates behind-the-scenes. If you will become a fashion marketer, you will have to keep yourself side by side with the ever changing consumer purchasing habits and fashion trends; come up with advertising campaigns that will attract the attention and appeal to the tastes of specific types of consumers; and mind the various innovations that are introduced to the field every so often.

The visionary that is in every fashion marketer should foresee what would be successful and interesting to specific groups, as well as making sure that the apparel would be bought. Fashion marketers should be able to link fashion designers and the consumers.

Fashion Merchandising. Fashion merchandisers and marketers go hand-in-hand. Just like marketers, merchandisers must be able to foresee what is going to be the next new trend and style and determine the specific needs of a target consumer group. However, if the marketer is responsible for the advertising stints, a merchandiser actually buys the apparel and presents them to the various boutiques.

If you are going to be a merchandiser, you will aid the consumers in the selection of the right clothes – may it be through proper lighting, presentation, or simply giving valuable suggestions.

There you have it! Do you want to get high with a new career? Find yourself a school and choose the course that is best for you! Submit yourself to the lures of school and the fashion industry.

Fashion Talk

"Amazing!" With a gasp of approval, Tilda Swinton places her delicate hands on Ihe Chanel gold feather neckpiece that will eventually adorn her perfectly proportioned, alabaster frame at the BlnckBook cover shoot. "It's very regal." she proclaims. "1 just love it."

Avant-garde goddess. An icon of indie cinema. To some, the most beautiful woman on the planet. And, on this morning in Paris, fashion model. Just in from Milan, where she's currently shooting the romantic drama to sono lainore, Swinton is exhausted from a late night of filming, but quickly becomes energized by the array of colors, cuts and styles of the fashion choices before her. Slowly examining racks of clothes that have been assembled for her 5'11" frame and her own exacting aesthetic by her longtime stylist Jerry Stafford, she focuses on metallics. such as a black pleated Alberta l:erretti gown with gold medallions affixed to its three-quarters cap sleeves. "It feels like a piece of nomadic tribal wear," she offers, before stepping in front of the camera.

Its a 10-hour day. far longer than most celebrity shoots. Swinton is dedicating her considerable creative energies to this project and wants to get il right. 'Ihe photographer's suggestion that she relax and play around with the back of her skirt causes a Heeling moment ol Iriction. "This is relaxed for me," she offers, posturing steady-on. "All the girly stuff is not relaxed for me. It's hard work." Seeing images of herself.

transmitting unruffled strength on the digital monitor, she comments, "'that I can do. I can give you that. It's all that girly stuff 1 can't do." Similarly, when the photographer says she looks a bit too much like a boy in one of the pictures, several hours into the shoot, she leans in and, as if letting him in on a secret, stage whispers: "That's kind of who I am."

The anecdote still tickles her the next morning when we meet for breakfast at the Hotel Lotti, a few minutes stroll away from the Louvre. Wearing a jersey by Martin Margiela and Ihe same turquoise skirl by Yves Saint Laurent that she had on the prior day (all Ihe better to travel light), Swinton comes across as being at ease in her own skin and with her looks, an impression that she's quick to clarify. "Comfortable is not the way I would put il. Resigned is probably the right word." she says, pouring packet after packet of sugar into her coffee. "A minimal amount of experimentation wenl on in my teenage years. There was only so much 1 could do with the way 1 look. I was never big into wearing mascara or blue eyeliner. It's very easy for me to look like a Goth, where very little goes a very long way. It feels more natural for me to wear a tux than a ball gown—lhat is a kind of transvestism for me. 1 never had an aspiration to look like a doll, which is fortunate."

But she did design her own clothes as a teenager growing up in one of the most aristocratic families of Scotland, a heritage she's seemed. Source (Balck Book Magazine)

Fashion Jewelry: How to Familiarize Yourself with It

Are interested in updating your appearance, fashion wise? If you are, your first thought may be to buy a new wardrobe. While new clothes are a great way to update your fashion appearance, did you know that clothes are not all that fashion includes? Fashion also includes fashion accessories, like jewelry. If you are looking for a relatively easy and affordable way to update your fashion, you may want to think about buying new fashion jewelry.

Fashion Jewelry: How to Familiarize Yourself with It

When it comes to buying fashion jewelry, there are many individuals who wonder what is the best way to go about researching fashion jewelry, particularly the “hottest,” jewelry trends at the moment. In all honesty, there are an unlimited number of different ways that you can go about doing so. A few of those ways are briefly touched on below.

One of the easiest ways that you can go about familiarizing yourself with the latest in fashion jewelry trends is by turning to the internet. Online, you can find a large number of online fashion websites. Many of these websites offer fashion tips, as well as cover some of the latest fashion trends in jewelry, as well as other fashion accessories. If you are looking to not just own any piece of fashion jewelry, but the latest piece of jewelry to hit the stores and make a splash, online fashion magazines are the best way to go.

In keeping with fashion magazines, you can also learn about the latest in fashion jewelry by buying printed fashion magazines. Many individual, possibly just like you, prefer buying printed fashion magazines, as opposed to reading online fashion magazines. It is hard to explain, but some people just prefer seeing things in print. The only downsides to buying fashion magazines to learn more about fashion jewelry is the cost of doing so. While affordable priced, fashion magazines can get expensive overtime and they may not necessarily cover fashion jewelry; therefore, you may want to skim through any magazines that you want to buy.

Another easy way that you can go about familiarizing yourself with popular fashion jewelry pieces and styles is by going shopping. Window shopping is a great way to learn about new, popular pieces of fashion jewelry or fashion jewelry sets. If you are shopping in a storefront retail location, you will likely find the popular fashion pieces, including fashion jewelry, displayed in the window of a fashion store or positioned on an elaborate display.

In addition to traditional window shopping, you may want to think about trying to shop or at least examine fashion jewelry pieces online. You may want to visit the online website of a popular fashion store or a well-known jewelry store. One of the biggest signs that a piece of fashion jewelry is popular or in style at the moment is if it is displayed on the front page of an online retailer’s website. This is a great way to quickly find information on what is hot and what may not be so hot in the world of fashion jewelry.

As you can see, you have a number of different options when it comes to familiarizing yourself with the latest trends in fashion jewelry. Whether you are interested in complimenting your new wardrobe with fashion jewelry or if you just want to experiment with it, you have a number of fashion jewelry research methods at your fingertips.

Can You Make Money as a Fashion Designer?

Do you have a love for fashion? If that love includes designing your own clothes or fashion accessories, like handbags, have you ever thought about making a living as a fashion designer? When it comes to being a fashion designer, many individuals feel that it is a dream of theirs that just isn’t destined to become a reality. While this is sometimes the case, it doesn’t always have to be. With the right willpower and the need to succeed, you can easily make money as a fashion designer.

Can You Make Money as a Fashion Designer?

When it comes to making money as a fashion designer, many individuals believe that they can only be successful if they see their designs on the runways in New York or Paris. While this would definitely help, you don’t have to be a famous, well-known fashion designer to make money as one. Did you know that you can make money as a fashion designer making your own clothes right from your own living room or home office? You can and if you would like to know more on how you can go about doing so, you will want to read on.

As you likely already know, many fashion designers start out with simple drawings on paper. Many have the dream of turning their drawings into real pieces of clothing or fashion accessories; therefore, many do so. What is nice about making a living as a fashion designer is that you have a number of different options. For instance, if you were just starting out small, to see how your designs would sell, you can not only be the designer, but the maker as well. If you would like to hire assistance, either right away or after your business took off, you could do as well.

If you are interested in starting your own fashion design business, you will want to think about having your own online website. In fact, many fashion designers sell their products exclusively on their own online websites, not in some big fancy fashion store. Of course, if your fashions take off, you could later choose to do so if you want. If you also want to sell your own fashions locally, you may want to think about renting some business space. If you carefully choose your space, you cannot only have a sales floor, but you may also be able to have a warehouse where you can make and store your fashions. This ideal if you are interested in running both an online fashion store and a storefront one.

If you have been interested in being a fashion designer for a while now, there is a good chance that already have some of the many supplies needed. For instance, you probably already have a large selection of drawing materials, a sewing machine, and likely even a collection of fabrics. If that is the case, you will find that the startup costs associated with getting your fashion design business up and running are minimal. For many, it is the cost of starting a business that poses the biggest problem, but it may not necessarily be a problem for you.

Of course, when it comes to running a business, even just a small one, you need to remember to abide by all local, state, and federal laws. For more information on running a small business, like a fashion design business, out of your home, you may want to think about speaking with your local government officials. If they cannot assist you, they should be able to point you in the direction of someone who can.

Finding Fashion Stores to Shop At

Are you interested in revamping your appearance, at least in terms of your fashion? If you are, you may be looking to buy new clothes or fashion accessories. If you are looking for the latest in fashion trends, you may want to think about finding a well-known and popular fashion store to shop at, as they often have the largest selection of clothes and clothing accessories for today’s top fashions.

Finding Fashion Stores to Shop At

When it comes to finding a fashion store to shop at, you have a number of different options. One of those options involves heading down to your local shopping mall. Shopping malls are a great place to find a number of well-known and popular fashion stores. While many small shopping malls do have some great fashion stores to shop at, you may find a larger selection of fashion stores and better ones by visiting a larger shopping mall. Larger shopping malls are commonly found in large cities or in popular vacation destinations.

You may also want to think about asking those that you know for recommendations. This works best if you see someone that you know wearing something, like a dress or a business suit, that you would like to own yourself. If you may want to casually ask a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor where they got the item and if they like shopping there. If they do and if you like their taste in fashion, there is a good chance that you will also like the fashion store in question. If you have never heard of the fashion store being recommended to you before, you may want to get the location of the store so that you can start shopping.

Another way that you can go about finding a good fashion store to shop at is just by keeping your eyes open. As previously mentioned, a large number of fashion stores are located inside shopping malls, but not always. A large number of fashion stores are also considered standalone stores. For that reason, you never know when you may come across a really neat fashion store when out shopping for groceries or just driving home from work. Many of the individuals who end up finding their favorite fashion stores just happen on them by chance.

The internet is another way that you can go about finding information on a locally based fashion store. A large number of businesses, including fashion stores, have online websites. Those online websites will likely outline the location of the store in question, as well as contain other important pieces of information. It is common to find a few pictures and other information about the fashion pieces and accessories sold at a fashion store on their online website. You can find the online website of a local fashion store, if they have one, by performing a standard internet search. You may also be able to use business directories, as many link to the business’s online website.

Speaking of using the internet to find information on a local fashion store, you can also use the internet to find an online fashion store. While a large number of fashion store owners choose to operate their stores in a storefront location, there are others who choose to operate an online store and even some to choose to do both. By performing a standard internet search, with phrase like “women’s clothing,” “fashion store,” and so forth, you may be directed to the online websites of multiple online fashion stores. The more that you able to customize your search to include what you are looking for, like men’s business suits or women’s lingerie, you are more likely to find exactly what you were looking for online.

If you are interested in improving your fashion sense, one of the first things that you should do is visit a fashion store, even if it is just to look around. As you can see, there are a number of different ways that you can go about finding a popular fashion store to shop at, as well as one that may be known as a well-kept secret.

Style and Personality

Style and Personality "The distinction is that which places the human person over the vulgariad and within the manor." Ricardo Yepes

Until recently, the journalist Leticia Ortiz was a presenter more who met every afternoon to work the news in one of the shackles of Spanish TV. Now, this simple and elegant woman of 31 years will be the future Queen of Spain and is married with prícipe Felipe.

Given this choice, many people will make such questions as: What was the Prince in it, to make such an important decision? Is it her beauty?, Their professionalism, "Or maybe the poise and sincerity in the eyes? What did Prince see in a career that, to some extent, an ordinary woman, a princess?

I think, responding to these questions a bit, that first impressions counted. And that, in terms of impressions, there are no second chances. She said, "The image is the first thing you see of us and therefore must be careful." This implies further fashion, hair care, have good taste in dress.

Leticia, then, believes that we must take care of the picture and just see it, one realizes that she respects their opinions. But this is not the only provision that follows the future princess, she said that "a person goes through it looking nice, the tone of voice, the poise to express themselves."

Both factors mentioned, as I see it defines a woman, a person. Why is that while fashion accessory that brings maximum benefit to the body shape, personality reveals the interiority of the soul; fashion Announces a status and lifestyle, personality, maturity has been achieved and characteristic of the self .. Fashion wears a personality to what is in the background. If the fund is rich in values, life inside, constructive thinking, the dress will beautify what is inside, which cannot be seen, but only in the attitudes and dense in the eyes.

I venture to think that this was what he saw Prince Philip in Leticia, a unit of life that is revealed in the clothes and earns the trust of others through the eyes.(By Sheila Morataya)

How the clothes people charge in

"Man who knows the penalty of everything and the meaning of nothing." Oscar Wilde.

Dedicating to: Paola, more than sensuality, prayer projected.
Throughout the account of costumes, we can see that it has met very given functions in each historical cycle. To declare a single verity, we have the boom of the mode business in the reign of Louis XIV. The chief meaning then was to launch all the finery and nation with which he had the king by divine manifestation; policies request to validate that might. Focusing on the immense creative world that urban in the material industry can understand the great importance that this was at that moment.

In our existence, and on the move or individual consciousness, the position of clothing has become democratically to spread the direct of individualized character. With our particular way of dressing silently scream here we are.

We are singing and the playhouse of seeking a "class," even, I construe that we are also flaunting the barrier of the definition of a "lifestyle."

What we consciously (and regularly unconsciously) want is to find or regain confidence in ourselves. Why am I proverb this? For to find our personality leads us to be convinced in ourselves and that is a chief pace towards confidence.
Sometimes I also unsure that this is taking us as consumers to change our criteria for hold. How this dispute? As follows:

What are the factors influencing our result to hold? No orders of priority that we can answer are: respect, type and / or designer, term, frame and more.
These factors are gradually relegated the quest immediately find himself. Human beings seek it now when you saw: to find his own ego. Found means just syndicate someone, in itself.

Here with deception for me the importance and great estimate that the world cloths photocopy. We are indeed open through the present to see positive effects for the penalty that "we scuff, but by the value" invaluable "we have ourselves.
I think from now on clothing purchases will be much more intelligent. Purchases will be "human worth."

What is the truly prospect of method? Difficult to predict or envisage. What I do longing is that ourself-this raised respect new position to dress. From this aspect we have to think this way everything will be more productive and emotionally and psychologically. No longer live, I suppose, compulsive shoppers.

Fashion Week Milan

Speaking of Milan supposed glamour, exclusive of the great names on the catwalk. Speaking of Milan is fashionable to talk in capital letters. And it is the gateway to Italy for a few days to meet some of the best designers in the world to increase the value of trends in the coming months to women wearing more distinguished and privileged.

From Prada to Gucci, from Armani to Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo for a Moschino, Alberta Ferretti from Etro, by Cavalli, which has the note of controversy in the Fashion Week in refusing to present its newest collection, the Just Cavalli “by the crisis?"

Therefore, the Italian designer has presented a collection that avoids romantic and believes in a woman hard and combative warrior capable of overcoming the bad times. Cavalli said goodbye to his fantasies of color and vaporous clothes and dresses and jackets replaced by short, straight lines, dark, leather, studs, pins and zippers punk style reminiscent of the'80s, but says that has not been inspired by this trend.

But if war had on the Cavalli catwalk, Cristina Ortiz, designer Salvatore Ferragamo, Milan flooded with mystery and seduction, the signing of the house. All possible versions of the red rose to eggplant, went for a walk but not to inspire romantic passion. Full of complicated cutting pliers, shapes and exaggerated shoulder pads only fit for daring women who are not afraid to suggest his body sheathed in long skirts and bodices of tissues veiled transparent organza.

The collection, signed by the Italian designer Veronica Etro, for its part, was composed of ethnic clothing and less sophisticated than usual, taking as inspiration the colors of the Byzantine mosaics. Quirky and unusual combinations of leather and silk, sequins and fringe, dazzled with pants, dresses and coats in which the tones of bronze and gold were the protagonists, in addition to the vaporous tunics in hot colors.

But the explosion of brilliance came with the collection of Frida Giannini for Gucci. Inspired by China Town, the Italian filled garments with sequins and shiny, from cutting men's suits, but with cigarette pants, a dress Cortis through the entire modern dancer style "Fame" or "Flash dance." All in boots that reach the thigh and ends in vertiginous heels.

The signature designs of Emilio Pucci and his new designer, the young Norwegian Peter Dundas, excited to Princess Mette Marit, who was in the front row, thanks to the "micro-dress and boots with high heels, which give a strong and aggressive women.

Meanwhile, the designer Rossella jardinier played for the house Moschino, with shapes and colors for her new collection. Originality also not lacking in a parade in which they could see huge red flowers, millions of remnants of fabric, ties and exaggerated ruffles and meters and meters of organza.

One of the most awaited moments of the Milan Fashion Week came from the hand of Giorgio Armani, who played with the gray tones and light fabrics in its proposals for a woman "Porcelain" that goes to the street chic additions : Gilda type gloves and hat.

For its part, invested in Dolce & Gabbana fall-winter line inspired opera with some stamping reminiscent of Baroque paintings. Tutús, bodices, dresses adorned with ribbons, braids and miniskirts in the form of umbrellas that could have the glory Meninas by Velazquez completed a collection that took as its guest of emergency in the front row for the new signature image, the actress Scarlett Johansson.

Super Rich Keep Buying: Paris Couture Houses See Good Times Roll On

PARIS — One morning last January, a clutch of well-dressed women gathered outside the Christian Lacroix fashion house on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

But the occasion wasn't a sample sale. Rather it was the day after Lacroix's summer couture show, and some of the most privileged women in the world were anxious to get dibs on some of the most expensive clothes in the world.

"At 8:30, they're in front of the door," marveled Marie Martinez, the chic, silver-haired couture director at Lacroix. "They know that after it's sold, it's impossible to have. They want to be the first appointment."

Such impatience is a potent symbol that couture continues to flourish despite widespread economic turmoil. What's more, it's expanding international customer base — flush with wealth, and increasingly from destinations to the east — is demanding more exclusivity and service than ever. As Paris gears up for four days of high fashion shows starting today, couture bosses are bullish, citing high double-digit sales gains last year and predicting strong attendance this week from a widening swath of clients, many from emerging markets with explosive wealth like the Middle East, Russia and Asia.

And as further proof that couture is defying gravity, executives said they have yet to note any dip in U.S. business so far, despite the economic turmoil there.

"What is most important is that haute couture is the ultimate luxury. It's about design, exclusivity, custom-made refinement, and the most exclusive and unique service," said Bruno Pavlovsky, president of the fashion division at Chanel, which saw couture sales rise more than 20 percent last year.

He also noted that the fashion house's January collection, which had models strolling out of a giant Chanel jacket erected in the Grand Palais, was one of its most successful to date.

While the numbers in couture are small, in terms of clients and the production output, Pavlovsky sensed the comeback of sizeable orders. "The last one was eight dresses in one shot," he said.

"The demand for very, very high-end products continues to be very strong," agreed Sidney Toledano, president of Christian Dior, citing an increase in couture sales of more than 35 percent last year and a "strong double-digit" growth so far this year. "Very rich people are not suffering from the crisis. The workshops have been very busy," he said. By Miles Socha - www.wwd.com

The collection of Madonna and her daughter is now on sale

It was worth so much effort and work because I finally got the big day. The Material Girl clothing line, which runs on account of Madonna and her thirteen years old daughter, Lourdes, just going on sale in U.S. stores Macys. Already there are hundreds of onlookers who have come there to take a look. We put it a little easier and I left some pictures of the most exclusive models.

We can add color and texture to such painstaking work of mother and daughter who both has been the talk in recent months. It is well known to all that the 'Queen of Pop' and his daughter, nicknamed Lola, have been working side by side during all this time to get ahead in her Material Girl.

And finally, it became official launch of the Material Girl clothing line on 3 August in the U.S. Macys stores. Just announce it, hundreds of onlookers lined the gates of the facility to take the first glimpses of hands and grab the odd bargain.

Lourdes, better known as Lola, has written on the official website of the firm, "Okay, let me just say, not to brag or anything, but is simply incredible and I love all the clothes a lot."

"I'm not the designer, but my mother and I were inspired and created the style and sets, respecting fashion," added the daughter of Madonna. Material Girl will only be sold in stores Macys.

Reflections on the Back to School Fashion

sexy school girl

We use various ways to express ourselves. We either use words or we use other symbols. We make use of signals, we make use of gestures and we also make use of fashion to tell the world what we want to say. When we put on our clothes for the day, it is like we are declaring to the world our attitude for the day. This is the reason why it is so interesting to observe the back-to-school fashion preferences of people. The back to school fashion preference of a person shows who he will be for the whole term in a nutshell.

There are those people who wear practically the same thing they did in the last term. The bad thing about this is that this could be an indication of little to no personal growth in the past term. This could be an indication that the person did not mature in the past year. What could make this worse is if that person had been wearing the same fashion for more than 5 years. That could be an indicator of a serious problem. The positive interpretation of this could be that the person has matured enough to have found his or her identity in life. This type of back-to-school fashion could indicate that a person is already perfectly happy with the image that he or she presents and that they feel no urge to change. It could also be an indication that the person has had a great past year and wishes to recapture that year.

There are people who exhibit great changes in their back to school fashion. There is also a good side and a bad side to this. The good interpretation of this is that the person has experienced an epiphany. A change in back-to-school fashion could be an indicator that a person has reached a new level of maturity and is ready to face the world with a new attitude. He or she could be declaring to the world that he or she is a new person, changed for the better and willing to tackle the world head on.

sexy school girl

There is also a dark side to this change in back-to-school fashion. A person could have suffered from an event so cataclysmic that it required the person to reject his or her old personality entirely. A drastic change in back-to-school fashion could be akin to a person screaming, “I am not who I used to be. It will not happen to me anymore!” not all changes are good and not all changes are bad. That fact must be understood.

There are students whose back to school fashion is based on what a certain group is wearing. The positive side to this is that it indicates social acceptance. A person who has this type of back to school fashion shows that he or she is sociable and knows how to make friends with at least a certain group of people. However, this could also be an indication of a lack of initiative. People who dress the way others do may do so because they don’t really have any idea of what to wear. They let their groups decide their fashion because without the group, they really have no idea who they are.

Now you know that back to school fashion is a great indication of who a person is.

History of Fashion: Jeanne Lanvin

Lanvin, the eldest of 11 siblings, started working for 13 years as a girl of errands, then became a seamstress and dressmaker finally. For 18 years opened a hat itself. In 1895 he married an Italian nobleman, Emilio di Pietro, but his marriage broke up eight years later, when her daughter Marguerite had six.

Love made his little Lanvin started designing delicate dresses in bright colors, which is dramatically opposed to simple models of clothing for adults who were children at the time. Thus, while designing his first collection of children, placed the first stone of his fashion house.

Shortly afterwards created a line for young girls and another for women, becoming the first designer to take into account the different age groups.

Introduced a new fashion item: the youth, because their patterns simple and innocent and bright colors give the women of any age look feminine and romantic. His clothes have ankle tissue vaporous history of fashion and style robes.

Was launched in 1926 to design fashion for men, so they could dress in your living room the whole family. Over a century later, his room is still owned by the heirs of the founder.
